Susan G. Komen Colorado's Snowshoe for the Cure is a truly unique event that combines the community's philanthropic spirit with Coloradans' love for the great outdoors - all in an effort to combat the most frequently diagnosed cancer worldwide. Upwards of 1,500 enthusiastic participants strap on their snowshoes in an effort to stomp out breast cancer, a disease that impacts 1 in every 7 women in Colorado.
Hosted in the dreamy winter wonderland of Frisco, Colorado on the pristine trails of the Frisco Nordic Center, this event is fun and family-friendly, offering a Lil Stompers Dash, 3k route and 5k option. Participants are treated to a pancake breakfast, energetic music, and if the heartwarming program doesn't heat you up, the hot chocolate and coffee will as you look out over a mountain full of pink warriors!
Snowshoe for the Cure is a fun event, but the need is serious. One hundred percent of the funds raised by Komen Colorado are allocated to advance our mission. Seventy five percent is used in our community to help fund local programs that offer breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment. The remaining 25 percent is invested in groundbreaking research to find better treatments and ultimately a cure to end breast cancer foreve
ArcherDX addresses the bottlenecks associated with using NGS by offering a robust platform for targeted sequencing applications.
Archer target enrichment assays utilize AMP chemistry to generate highly enriched sequencing libraries for comprehensive profiling of fusions, CNVs, SNVs and indels. Amplification from independent, unidirectional primers and universal molecular barcoded adapters permit identification of novel gene fusions and mutations with nucleotide-level resolution. Requiring only one intact primer-binding site, AMP chemistry is uniquely suited to amplify small, degraded fragments, enabling solid tumor mutation profiling from FFPE samples and liquid biopsies.
Archer’s easy-to-use, lyophilized kits generate sequencing-ready libraries from RNA, DNA, and liquid biopsy-derived ctDNA. Complemented by the Archer suite of assay design and bioinformatics analysis, Archer’s FusionPlex, VariantPlex and Reveal ctDNA assays facilitate complex mutation identification and discovery, while Immunoverse assays enable quantitative profiling of the expressed immune repertoire.
