Watch the presentation below given by Brian Kudlow at the Banff Pathology Conference 2015. Dr. Kudlow discusses how Archer™ technology addresses the challenges of correctly identifying genetic mutations.
Dr. Kudlow begins his presentation by identifying the challenge of modern cancer genomics and how Archer technology addresses those challenges in the laboratory. The merits of Anchored Multiplex PCR (AMP™) and it's advantage over traditional opposing primers are discussed, and Dr. Kudlow talks about several panels, as well as our newest panel, the Comprehensive Thyroid Lung Panel. To wrap up, Dr. Kudlow will discuss where Archer is headed in the future and what technologies we plan on developing next.
Brian Kudlow is the Director of NGS Applications and Chemistry at ArcherDX, leading the development of next-generation sequencing assays for the detection of cancer-associated genomic translocations, mutations and copy number variations. Dr. Kudlow earned undergraduate degrees in mathematics and computer science and a PhD in molecular and cellular biology.
In genomics, as in life and science, Brian is trying to figure out how everything works.
You wouldn’t know it to look at him, but Brian is Canadian. He’s also an avid rock climber and guitarist.
