Brady Culver, PhD, Director of NGS Products and Instrumentation at ArcherDX, describes the challenges of gene fusions discovery in solid tumors and his process for developing and characterizing a comprehensive NGS panel to assess translocations in these tumor types.
Topics that Dr. Culver discusses include:
The webinar was recorded on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
Dr. Culver, Director of NGS Products and Instrumentation at ArcherDX, Inc., and earned his Doctoral degree from UC Boulder studying centriolar protein homologs in Tetrahymena thermophila before researching sub-cellular compartmentalization and protein-protein interactions of mutant Huntington's disease protein as a Post-doctoral fellow at NYU School of medicine. Dr. Culver's years in functional genomics research have placed him as the lead inventor on several provisional patents for novel gene modulation methods and empowered his solid-tumor focused research at ArcherDX. When not in the lab, Dr. Culver can be found on the local ski slopes or mountain biking.
