Position Summary

Document Control assists in creating documents and preparing final document for approval according to ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 Quality System requirements. Document Control will be responsible for maintainings a comprehensive electronic and hard copy filing system and computer database for all documents.

Responsibilities

  • Create documents from templates with the assistance of subject matter experts
  • Create new templates as needed for Quality System documents
  • Review and accept changes and correct formatting in documents for final review
  • Work with document originators and subject matter experts to resolve conflicts within and between documents
  • Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents.

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience working with/in a quality system
  • Experience with ISO standards, GMP and GLP
  • Medical device experience, preferred

Education

  • BS in molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly desired.
  • Quality Assurance certifications and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
