Position Summary

The Scientific writer position is responsible for translating our scientific findings into clear concise reports primarily geared towards a regulatory audience. They are responsible for routinely generating analytical validation protocols and protocol reports for ArcherDX. As familiarity with AMP-NGS increases, some experimental design will be expected. In addition, they will work closely with R&D and Production teams to translate laboratory processes into approved internal documents. Additionally, they will work closely with the Quality Teams on document drafting, revising, and approval. This position is a key part of the greater IVD Assay Development team in order to communicate study findings to regulators and business partners in a clear and timely fashion.

Responsibilities

Technical Content Authorship

  • Work with R&D and QC on document creation/revision
  • Routinely generate and edit written technical content

Experience

  • 2-5+ years of laboratory experience
  • 1+ years in an industry setting (preferred)
  • Familiarity with NGS (preferred)
  • Familiarity with the FDA's CDx approval process a plus
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in authoring and presenting scientific molecular biology material

Education

  • BS/MS/PhD in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
