Seminar: Comprehensive tumor profiling: a targeted approach using purpose-built technology

Dr. Kudlow will speak at the world's first genomics festival with headliners like J. Craig Venter, George Church, Teri Manolio and Eric Green.

Specifically Dr. Kudlow will address the following concerns held by many in the clinical NGS field:

How does one evaluate turnaround times, assay breadth, and assay cost?

Is there a better, faster way to understand driver mutations in clinical sample types?

How can molecular barcoding be used to improve data quality and quantitation?

With regards to sequencing data, what can one theoretically expect from 10ng input?

Brian Kudlow, PhD: Director - NGS Applications and Chemistry, ArcherDX, Inc.

Brian Kudlow is Director of NGS Applications and Chemistry at ArcherDX, leading the development of next-generation sequencing assays for the detection of cancer-associated genomic translocations, mutations and copy number variations. Dr. Kudlow earned undergraduate degrees in mathematics and computer science and a PhD in molecular and cellular biology.

In genomics, as in life and science, Brian is trying to figure out how everything works.

You wouldn’t know it to look at him, but Brian is Canadian. He’s also an avid rock climber and guitarist.
